Community Outreach and Local Mission Project
ACTIVITIES FOR YOUTH, FAMILIES AND ALL THOSE IN THE COM-MUNITY!
Held at the Natrona Park and Playground – River Rd., Natrona
Since 2010 FUN AND FREEDOM has conducted a variety of free programs and activities at the Natrona Park and Play-ground.
Some of our Spring/Summer Activities include “PICNICS IN THE PARK”. These events include fun Sports and Games for youth, Face Painting, Food, Music and more! We also conduct an annual “FALL FUN” event in October which includes fun Sports and Games for youth, Crafts, Treat Bags, Pumpkin Decorating Kits, Food and more!
Backpack, School Supplies and Clothing and Shoes giveaway
During the month of August, Fun and Freedom hosts a Back to School event whereby we provide much needed school supplies, backpacks, clothing and shoes.
Annual “Birthday Party for Jesus” Event for Youth and Families
In 2013 we conducted our First Annual “Birthday Party for Jesus” Event. We celebrate with the youth and families we serve throughout the year at the activities we conduct at the Natrona Park and Playground. Our “Birthday Party for Jesus” event includes the giving of gifts, sharing the Christmas Story, enjoying Christmas Dinner with all the fixings and a Birthday Cake for Jesus!! This annual event is held in December at the PNA Club in Natrona.
Local Missions: One Day Local Mission Project - ”Renewing Natrona”
Since 2012 each year FUN AND FREEDOM has organized volunteer teams of Adult Leaders and Youth and conducts this One Day Local Mission Project which takes place in the community of Natrona. The overall purpose of this Annual Mission Project is to be praying for those in our local communities and to be “Serving others, in practical ways and imparting hope.”
Projects may Include: Painting, Minor Home Repairs/Building Projects, Street Cleaning, Yard/Trash Clean Up, Landscaping: Weeding, Trimming Shrubs, Planting Flowers, Small Shrubs, Laying Mulch and most important Building Up the Community and Building Relationships.
