Community Outreach and Local Mission Project

Multi-Sports Program

Youth 5 years old – Teens Natrona Recreation Park – 10 River Avenue, Natrona

Since 2010 FUN AND FREEDOM has conducted a summer Multi-Sport & Meeting Basic Needs Program for youth who live in Natrona and the surrounding communities. This program is conducted on most Saturdays (May through August 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. (See our Current & Upcoming Activities Page for Specific Activity Dates.). Each week we play fun sports such as Basketball, Dodge Ball, Hockey, Kickball, Beach Ball Volleyball and Whiffle Ball. We also provide healthy snacks and lunches, give away T-shirts, prizes, school supplies, backpacks and shoes. At the end of the summer season we close with a special event, open for the entire family, which includes games, refreshments and prizes!

Backpack, School Supplies and Clothing and Shoes giveaway

During the month of August, Fun and Freedom hosts a Back to School event whereby we provide much needed school supplies, backpacks, clothing and shoes.

Annual “Birthday Party for Jesus” Event for Youth and Families

In addition to our sports program – in 2013 we conducted our First Annual “Birthday Party for Jesus” Event and celebrated with these girls and boys, and their families, through the giving of gifts, sharing the Christmas Story, enjoying a Turkey Dinner with all the fixings and a Birthday Cake for Jesus! This annual event is held in December at the PNA Club in Natrona.

Local Missions: One Day Local Mission Project - ”Renewing Natrona”

Since 2012 each year FUN AND FREEDOM has organized volunteer teams of Adult Leaders and Youth and conducts this One Day Local Mission Project which takes place in the community of Natrona. The overall purpose of this Annual Mission Project is to be praying for those in our local communities and to be “Serving others, in practical ways and imparting hope.”

Projects may Include: Painting, Minor Home Repairs/Building Projects, Street Cleaning, Yard/Trash Clean Up, Landscaping: Weeding, Trimming Shrubs, Planting Flowers, Small Shrubs, Laying Mulch and most important Building Up the Community and Building Relationships.
