Board of Directors
Terri Loughrey – Board Member
Terri has served Fun and Freedom since 2004 and serves as the Executive Director. She has been an invaluable part of our Leadership Team throughout the years in helping our organization carry out all of our Year Round Activities and Events. Terri brings to the table an on-going vision for growth with the goal of continuing to make a positive impact in all we do . . . “for such a time as this.”. In addition, Terri is a Registered Nurse by profession and uses that expertise to serve during our Annual Summer Day Camp on our team of Camp Nurses.
Lorie Sakala – Board Member
Lorie has served Fun and Freedom since 2003. In addition to being on the Board of Directors – she heads up two additional roles: 1) Sports Director – as she oversees and participates in all of our Year Round Sports Activities 2) Community Outreach/Missions Director – she oversees and participates in our on-going reach to help make a difference in and around our local community through various Community Serving and Missions Projects. Lorie has years of coaching experience as well as having been a certified PIAA Sports Official.
Penny Houston – Board Member
Penny has served Fun and Freedom since 2003. She assisted our Founder, the late Coach Deeni Riddle, in the formation of the Fun and Freedom Non-Profit Organization. In addition to being on the Board of Directors she also holds the role of Administrative Assistant and Office Manager. She helps prepare for, assists with and takes part in all of our Year Round Activities and Events.
Coach Kathy Kotlinski
Kathy Kotlinski (Coach K) – Assistant Sports Director/Memorial Tournament Director
Coach K has served Fun and Freedom since 2003. She serves as our Assistant Sports Director and our Memorial Tournament Director. She also helps to oversee and participates in all of our Year Round Activities and Events. Coach K has years of coaching experience and worked alongside Coach Riddle for many years in the Allegheny Valley School District. She has a heart for kids, the community and keeping the fun in sports.
David and Jeannine McCutcheon
Jeannine and David McCutcheon – Summer Day Camp Directors
The McCutcheon’s have served Fun and Freedom in various aspects since 2003. It was in early 2009 that Jeannine and David met with the Fun and Freedom Board and presented their vision to begin a Fun and Freedom Summer Day Camp in Springdale. Six months later our first Day Camp was launched and has become an annual event ever since! What started out with 54 Campers and 20 Counselors has grown to over 150 Campers and 100 Junior and Senior Counselors. The McCutcheon’s also serve and take part in many of our other Year Round Activities and Events.
Brenda Frerotte – Special Event/Fundraising Director
Brenda has served Fun and Freedom since 2004. She serves as our Special Event/Fund Raising Director. Each year we hold two main Fundraising Events – our annual Golf Scramble and our annual Designer Purse Bash. Brenda brings years of experience in the field of Fund Raising for many local organizations. She also has many years of experience working as a professional Caterer. We are grateful for her sharing her expertise – in both of these areas – which has been of great benefit to Fun and Freedom.
Lindsay Moser – Assistant Special Event/Fundraising Director, Day Camp Behavior Director
Lindsay has served Fun and Freedom since 2005. She has been teacher since 2006 and has taught grades K-5 and 9-12. It was in 2005 she participated in one of our International Mission Trips to Bolivia. In 2008, she again participated in our Mission Trip to the Bahamas. In 2015, we held our first annual Designer Purse Bash Fundraising Event whereby she helped to head up and carry out that event and has done so every year since. In addition to taking part in many of our other Year Round Activities – each Summer she also lends her expertise, working with children, and serves as our Day Camp Behavior Director.
