International Missions

FUN AND FREEDOM conducts, and participates in, various activities designed to positively impact youth as well as families and the communities in which they live.

FUN AND FREEDOM has conducted three international mission trips. Mission teams were made up of adult leaders and junior and senior high school youth. Because sports have the unique ability to breakdown social, economic and cultural barriers – this creates an opportunity for our mission teams to travel and play internationally as well as open doors to provide humanitarian aid, promote good will and share our Christian faith. Trips of this magnitude also provide a forum to challenge the personal growth of each mission team member in such areas as: physical endurance, teamwork, responsibility, appreciation of diverse cultures and compassion for the less fortunate.

BAHAMAS 2008

his was a 7 day tour that took place in July 2008 on Long Island, Bahamas . We conducted a week long Basketball Skills Instructional Camp as well as a Children’s Ministry which included fun games, crafts and teaching character building lessons.
